The Navigator cleverly incorporates a multi-axial ankle within the foot enclosure. This gives a natural plantar flexion action. The multi-axial unit offers more than simple elastomer laminates.
A contained ball and snubber configuration controls motion in the sagital/coronal planes, as well as torque absorption in the transverse plane for optimal comfort and security.
Designed for activity level 2 and 3 amputees, the foot is perfect for day to day activity around home and office, walking to the shops and meeting friends in the community.
Trials to date show an overwhelming preference for the ‘natural feel’ of the Navigator Foot, encouraging wearers to expand their horizons.
